Lots and lots to talk about this September

September is always one of our more popular sales after the long  summer break, and this auction has all the ingredients of following the same pattern.

Yet a further reduction in interest rates is even more encouragement, if any were needed, to take cash out of deposit accounts to make it work and produce an income.

Cash is not the King it used to be – with costs and quantitative easing  (devaluation to you and me) making the property market even more attractive to the medium and long term investor.

As usual, we are at the forefront of property auctioneering and have launched our national online service. This is in addition to and not instead of our core collective traditional regional auctions.  However, our clients have told us that there are occasions where an online service would be appreciated.

This could be suitable for national portfolios of ground rents or investments that would benefit from a level playing field across the UK, wherever you live.

The only main difference will be that single lots or specific portfolios throughout the Country can be dealt with at a timescale to suit the seller.

Rather than a printed catalogue all lots will be listed online, giving the ability for all local agents, wherever they may be located, to introduce specific lots where the pitfall of best and final offers or subject to contract tenders can be avoided.

Legal packs will be available, viewings booked online and when the bidding ends at the agreed time, contracts are exchanged at the fall of the electronic gavel.

At this point a sale memorandum is produced and signed by the auctioneers as we already do now in respect of telephone, proxy and internet bidding by remote buyers who cannot attend the auction room in person.

But back to our September auction where we have an impressive list of exciting lots to whet your appetite throughout the region – from the East coast to the West Country.

Each regional auctioneer will introduce their own section and point you towards some stunning opportunities within their area.

Good hunting and I bid you well
