This 3.54 hectares (8.74 acres) County Wildlife Site comprises of a fishery with planning for the addition of a dwelling and shop which is a rare opportunity for private owners or investors alike. The Fishery is situated in the rural village of Carleton Rode, about five miles south-east of Attleborough which is the closest main conurbation with shops, restaurants and local amenities including schools and railway station.

Planning

17th April 2008, for the erection of a single building, comprising a dwelling, shop, store, offices and public toilets, subject to conditions. Work on this was started in 2011 and has been signed off by building control under ref: BN2011/4360/SNC. Planning Permission has also been granted by the South Norfolk District Council, under ref: 2006/1577, dated 14th July 2006, for coarse fishing lakes used for angling on a membership/day ticket basis running competitive matches and available for bookings from other angling clubs, subject to conditions.
