The Fishery is situated in the rural village of Carleton Rode, about five miles south-east of Attleborough which is the closest main conurbation with shops, restaurants and local amenities including schools and railway station.

Work on this was started in 2011 and has been signed off by building control under ref: BN2011/4360/SNC. Planning Permission has also been granted by the South Norfolk District Council, under ref: 2006/1577, dated 14th July 2006, for coarse fishing lakes used for angling on a membership/day ticket basis running competitive matches and available for bookings from other angling clubs, subject to conditions.
