These two vacant freehold buildings straddle a rear service road off of Wodehouse Road which runs between Sholing Road and Spring Road. The larger building on the right hand side of the site was last in use as a convenience store and could potentially return to retail use if required.
It is however considered that the site is suitable for residential re-development and the response to a pre-application report submitted to Southampton City Council gives confirmation that the Local Authority would be agreeable to residential re-development, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.
