Wow! What a race
Thank you to everyone who came along and made the 4th year of the Clive Emson Charity Karting a great success. Most importantly we raised over £1,600 for Havens Hospices which takes the grand total for the event to over £7,200 with the final count up to still come in.
The top three in the race all finished on the same lap after 161 laps and 2 hours racing in what was the most competitively fought event so far. The win was taken by Elite Motorsport and their driver William MacIntyre took the fastest lap award with a new lap record at Lakeside Karting of 42.278 seconds. The Off Track Trivia Quiz was won by Agency Express and the award for Top Fundraiser went to SPD Electrical, who took Pole Position for the race with their ‘Bid for the Grid’.
