Planning Permission has been granted by Folkestone & Hythe District Council under reference 20/0459/FH, dated 30th March 2020, for conversion of the existing public house (class A4) to supported living accommodation (class C2) to provide 12 bedroom suites each with kitchenette including rear extension to the existing building to provide new staircase and lift, use part of the ground floor as a café (class E) and training areas and erection of an additional supported living accommodation (class C2) comprising three one bedroom and three two bedroom flats on the adjacent land to the rear, subject to conditions.

Lapsed Planning

Under reference 07/0937 Planning Permission (now lapsed) was granted for the change of use and conversion of the public house to student accommodation (class C2) and the erection of a terrace of four dwellings (fronting Chilham Road), subject to conditions.
