The site comprises a single storey building and storage known as â€The Workshop’ situated within a triangular parcel of land, secured by a two-metre high palisade fence around most of the perimeter.

The site is also surrounded by the rear of terrace residential dwellings fronting Brook Road to the east, Park Avenue to the north west and Davis Avenue to the south. Access to the site has traditionally been via Brook Road for neighbouring garages and there are a number of other vehicular and footpath access points.

Planning Permission was granted by Gravesham Borough Council under ref: 20210435, dated 19th May 2021, for demolition of existing single storey workshop and store and erection of two detached chalet bungalows, with associated parking and access, subject to conditions.

A further Reserved Matters Application was permitted dated 21st December 2022 for the Approval of Appearance and Landscaping (Condition 3), pursuant to the original application reference.
