Lot 2 Approx. 9.5 Acres Of WoodlandAuction Date:
1st May 2025
Moore Wood, Dunkirk, Faversham, Kent, ME13 9LN

Key Features
A large parcel of established woodland which measures approximately 9.5 acres, with good access off the A2 and located on the outskirts of Dunkirk village and the city of Canterbury. The woodland, which we have been informed is made up of Sweet Chestnuts and Oaks, forms part of a larger woodland, however, the boundary is marked out by wooden posts painted blue.
The seller has informed us that the whole area is subject to a Tree Preservation Order but the seller obtained a Forestry Commission Felling License (which has now expired) and the woods have been coppiced during their ownership.
Site Measurements
The site extends to approximately 3.83 hectares (9.46 acres).
Viewing
On site during daylight hours.
Auctioneer's Note
We have been informed by the seller that there are restrictive covenants to prevent sub-division of the woods into smaller parcels and to prevent any business other than forestry, buyers are encouraged to rely on their own investigations.
Directions
To find the land please take the exit off the A2 at the Esso service station. To the rear of the petrol station there is an access track which takes you towards a caravan park. Go past the caravan park along the track and up to the locked gate. The woodland is through the gate on the right hand side. ///tearfully.trifle.smiling
