Sussex and Surrey contain some outstanding properties; thanks to the glorious mix of countryside and city areas there is something to suit every taste on the market. The region is a favourite of foodies for its cultured countryside feel; traditional country pubs mix in with modern restaurants and sleek city bars. Whether you are looking to live or work in the area, or even develop a property, the counties have an undeniable charm.
Sussex is a historic county, with a strong relationship with its Saxon roots, and it plays host to the South Downs, a notable landmark of chalk hills with outstanding views. Sussex is also a popular tourist and day trip destination, with millions flocking to Brighton each year to enjoy its vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere and seaside fun. According to the Met Office, West Sussex is the sunniest county in England!
Close links to Gatwick airport and a light aircraft runway and helipad at Goodwood makes Sussex ideal for those who regularly travel abroad. Surrey is particularly popular with commuters to London. With areas like the market town of Epsom sat just on the border, there is the opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life into what is known as the ‘Metropolitan Green Belt’.
Surrey Hills is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which covers a quarter of the county. This means that it is ideal for those who love rural activities and the rolling countryside that this county has to offer.
There are many stunning properties available in Sussex and Surrey and, thanks to their location, the area is prime for any buyer. Whether you are hunting for your first home, looking to develop your perfect rural property or wanting to find office space just close enough to London, you can find what you need at our auctions.
If you have seen a property that you are interested in we recommend viewing it beforehand as well as attending the auction day. However, if you are not going to be available to come to the auction, then you can bid via our remote bidding services.
