It was an honour to be invited to be part of the inaugural Chichester and District Business awards, an evening to celebrate many local businesses who serve the people of Chichester and West Sussex so well. It was clear during the judging process, how much dedication and hard work the individuals behind the businesses put into their daily lives to make them so successful. It was also a joy to put the faces to the names of the businesses and seeing the pride on show.
What really struck me was the great sense of community and support they all showed for one another, this wasn’t just a typical awards evening to celebrate the winners, this truly was a real celebration of all businesses that Chichester and the surrounding area has to offer. A special mention to all those that made the shortlist as there were some remarkable entrants into each category. Winners on the evening shared their tips and advice on what makes them successful and some shared some exciting news of new ventures happening in the immediate future which goes to show they will all be around for many years to come to continue to serve the area.
We look forward to continuing to see the business thrive and are excited to see what happens next looking forward to 2026.
