Planning Permission was granted over the front section of the site, by Maidstone Borough Council under ref: MA/08/1460, dated 15th October 2009, for change of use of land from agricultural to residential for the stationing of one mobile home and one touring caravan together with the erection of a utility building and associated works, subject to conditions.

Conditions contained in the Planning Permission state that "the site shall not be permanently occupied by any persons other than gypsies and travellers", as defined in paragraph 15 of ODPM Circular 01/2006.

It also states that "no commercial activity shall take place on the land, including the storing of vehicles”.
Interested parties are advised to make their own enquiries with regard to continued use of the land with the Local Planning Authority.

Furthermore a Certificate of Lawfulness has been granted by Maidstone Borough Council dated 13th January 2021
