A note on our auctions during Covid-19

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, all of our auctions will be conducted online.  All properties and land currently available, regardless of location, can continue to be viewed through our properties page.

If you wish to read the legal documentation of any of the lots listed or to place a bid yourself, please register with us online. Alternatively, our main office is still open should you wish to get in contact with us with any questions or queries you may have.

The south coast has an outstanding showcase of properties and Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are no exception to this. With a concentration of cities positioned so close to the New Forest, Hampshire provides plenty of variety whether you are seeking a home or business opportunity. Hampshire houses Southampton and Portsmouth, as well as the county town of Winchester; England’s former capital city! The county has some wonderful historical areas and was the birthplace of the Royal Navy, British Army and the Air Force.

Almost 45% of the county is covered by the New Forest and South Downs, making it a charming tourist hotspot. The ports and seafront are commercial hubs, providing much revenue within the county; they offer superb watersport opportunities for the amateur or professional sportsperson. Southampton also has its own airport, making it ideal for internal or international flights.

From Hampshire, you are just a short ferry ride away from the Isle of Wight. An island famed for its festivals, beaches and love of the great outdoors, the Isle of Wight has commercial and residential properties to suit many hopeful property hunters.

The island attracts tourists and residents alike to its stunning countryside and coastline. It is also rich in history, hosting medieval tournaments, and is considered to be the dinosaur capital of Great Britain. Guides are provided as an indication of each Seller’s minimum expectation. They are not necessarily figures at which a property will sell for and may change at any time prior to Auction. Unless stated otherwise, each Lot will be offered subject to a reserve (a figure below which the Auctioneer cannot sell the Lot during the Auction).

Additional Fees

An Administration fee and Other non-optional fees may also be payable in addition to the bid price. All lots are offered subject to the Common Auction Conditions and Special Conditions of Sale or Revised Special Conditions of Sale (as applicable) and may include the repayment of search and other fees and or costs payable by the buyer.

All buyers are advised to inspect all available legal documentation prior to bidding and will be deemed to fully understand what they may be liable for if they are successful in purchasing. This should also include Stamp Duty, Land Registry fees and VAT which may become payable on completion in line with any property transaction, whether it is by auction or private treaty.
